Flex is completely rewriting that script by crafting an intelligent financial engine tailored for ambitious businesses generating anywhere from $3M to $200M in revenue. We have already grown from zero to nine-figure annualized revenue since late 2023, backed by more than $400M in combined equity and debt.

We are searching for a seasoned Product Owner for Payments and Infrastructure who knows how to move massive amounts of money reliably, safely, and effortlessly. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity where you will take direct responsibility for our most vital financial rails.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead critical initiatives across our core banking infrastructure and transaction pipelines. That means you will

Own the payments roadmap by prioritizing transaction speed, absolute ledger precision, and system resilience.
Partner closely with engineering teams to design scalable integrations with payment networks, sponsor banks, and clearing houses.
Maintain payment reliability by tracking success rates, reducing settlement failure margins, and eliminating routing bottlenecks before they impact users.
Translate technical complexity from intricate regulatory standards and banking constraints into clean, actionable product specifications.
Bridge backend plumbing with client needs to ensure our front-facing banking products feel magical to the business owners who rely on them every day.

Requirements

We look for builders who operate with extreme ownership and thrive without heavy bureaucracy. The strongest candidates usually bring

Substantial background guiding backend payments, banking integrations, or high-throughput financial infrastructure.
Deep working knowledge of money movement rails such as ACH, FedNow, RTP, card networks, and global wire transfers.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to dig into complex system architectures, event logs, and operational edge cases.
Clear, articulate written communication suited for an asynchronous, globally distributed environment.
A proven habit of shipping mission-critical software under tight timelines with zero tolerance for downtime or ledger discrepancies.
