Here Now Health stands as the pioneering virtual healthcare company dedicated to children and families deeply affected by the child welfare system. We deliver specialized, high-touch care to Medicaid-covered youth across foster care, adoption, kinship placements, and juvenile justice. Our core mission is to inject consistency, trust, and accessibility into systems where these elements are frequently absent. As our second Product Manager & Designer, you will become a pivotal force on our product team, directly shaping the user experience and functionality of our critical healthcare platform. This is a full-time, fully remote position, reporting directly to our Head of Product. We welcome applications from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Product Ownership: Take full ownership of product features from conception through to launch and iteration. This involves defining requirements, designing user interfaces, creating detailed user stories, and managing the development lifecycle.
User-Centric Design and Experience: Craft intuitive, accessible, and highly effective user interfaces for a diverse group of users, including therapists, caregivers, and caseworkers. Ensure every screen is perfectly tailored to their unique contexts and needs.
Collaborative Development: Work closely and daily with our engineering team. You will be instrumental in diagnosing issues, providing clear guidance on fixes, and fostering a strong collaborative environment to bring solutions to life.
Quality Assurance & Release Management: Rigorously test and validate features before release. You will also prepare comprehensive release notes, ensuring our users understand new functionalities and improvements.
Problem Solving: Actively identify, reproduce, and troubleshoot bugs and technical challenges, working proactively with engineers to implement robust solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Product Manager and/or Product Designer role, ideally within a healthcare or mission-driven technology company.
A strong portfolio or demonstrable experience showcasing your ability to design user interfaces and guide products from concept to launch.
Proficiency with design tools and an understanding of UX/UI principles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with engineers, stakeholders, and users.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex user needs and business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and designs.
An empathetic approach to product development, always considering the unique circumstances of our users.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset, comfortable with debugging and working closely with technical teams to resolve issues.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fully remote work environment.
