Overview

Bjak started in 2019 with a simple belief that everyone deserves smarter ways to plan, save, and grow their money. We launched the region's first mobile first insurance platform, and today we are expanding rapidly into spending, investing, traveling, and beyond. We operate globally with team members representing over twenty nationalities. This role is fully remote and open to talented designers worldwide who want to make a massive impact.

Key Responsibilities

Design intuitive and high quality product experiences across our expanding suite of financial applications.
Translate complex financial workflows into simple, elegant, and user friendly interfaces.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders from concept to launch.
Conduct user research and usability testing to deeply understand customer needs and behaviors.
Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms.
Advocate for the user at every stage of the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

Strong portfolio demonstrating deep expertise in UI and UX design for digital products, preferably mobile first applications. Proven experience in creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high fidelity designs. Deep empathy for users and a strong intuition for what makes an experience delightful and seamless. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic remote environment where ownership and initiative matter most. Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions clearly to diverse teams.
