Overview

If you love turning messy spreadsheets and endless rows of numbers into something people can actually look at without getting a headache, we need to talk. At OEC, we are building a brand new analytics product from scratch, and we are searching for a Product Designer who wants to own this entire user experience from day one. You will work with a tight-knit team of engineers and product managers to figure out how to make complex data feel simple, actionable, and maybe even a little bit fun. This is a fully remote position that you can do from anywhere in the world. Please keep in mind that US immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design intuitive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that turn complex information into crystal-clear insights.
Take ambiguous user needs and transform them into seamless interaction models and user-friendly interface patterns.
Select the absolute best chart types, layouts, and information hierarchies for various analytical tasks.
Build prototypes, put them in front of real users, and iterate based on genuine feedback.
Partner hand-in-hand with product managers and developers to ship high-quality, technically feasible designs.
Use and actively contribute to our growing design system to maintain consistency across the board.

Requirements

A bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience in product design.
A stellar portfolio showcasing your ability to design complex data-heavy applications, dashboards, or analytical tools.
Strong command of modern design tools like Figma.
A deep understanding of information architecture, data visualization principles, and human-computer interaction.
Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams.
