Key Responsibilities

Lead and Mentor a Talented Team: Guide, inspire, and develop a team of product designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Shape Product Strategy: Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key product areas.
Drive Design Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centered designs that solve complex problems for our industrial users, from factory floors to processing plants.
User Advocacy: Champion the needs of maintenance technicians, reliability engineers, and operations managers, translating their real-world challenges into intuitive, impactful design solutions.
Process & Best Practices: Establish and evolve design processes, tools, and methodologies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key design leader within cross-functional teams, ensuring design is integrated seamlessly throughout the product development lifecycle.
Recruitment & Growth: Actively participate in growing the design team, attracting and retaining top-tier talent.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in a product design leadership role, ideally managing a team of product designers.
A strong portfolio showcasing your leadership in shipping successful products and solving complex user problems through design.
Deep understanding of the entire product design lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and implementation.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and empower designers to do their best work.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments, collaborating effectively with product managers and engineers.
A genuine passion for understanding and serving industrial and frontline users, even if previous experience in this specific domain isn't direct.
