About the Role

The Procurement Officer will serve as a key player in the supply chain cycle, managing everything from raw materials and production consumables to complex engineering spare parts and machinery. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between production requirements and external suppliers, ensuring that the company maintains a competitive edge through cost-effective procurement and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing: Actively identify, evaluate, and manage a diverse portfolio of local and international suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
Procurement Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, including issuing quotations, negotiating terms, and managing purchase orders.
Operational Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Engineering, Finance, and QA departments to ensure that inventory levels are optimized and manufacturing processes run without interruption.
Compliance and Reporting: Maintain meticulous procurement records, prepare performance reports, and ensure all activities align with organizational policies and HSSE standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
3–5 years of dedicated procurement experience, specifically within a manufacturing setting.
Proven ability to source industrial materials and engineering spare parts.
Strong proficiency in ERP procurement systems, inventory management software, and the Microsoft Office suite.
A professional certification from CIPSMN or CIPS is highly regarded and will be considered a significant advantage.
