Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive Project Procurement Plans.
- Manage the end-to-end RFQ process, including technical and commercial bid evaluations.
- Lead supplier prequalification, selection, and complex contract negotiations.
- Oversee the procurement of diverse project requirements, ranging from process and packaging equipment to electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure project timelines are met by tracking vendor engineering, manufacturing schedules, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage contractual obligations, variations, and claims while maintaining meticulous procurement trackers and registers.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant procurement and contract experience. Preferred candidates will have 8–12 years of experience in industrial project procurement.
- Professional procurement certification will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage budgets, commercial documentation, and multifaceted vendor relationships.
