The Opportunity: Processing Supervisor
IDL is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Processing Supervisor to join our dynamic production team. This supervisory role is critical to overseeing daily processing operations, maximizing production efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality and food safety. Key Responsibilities
As a Processing Supervisor at Integrated Dairies Limited, your duties will include:
- Supervising and coordinating daily milk processing and dairy production operations to meet set targets.
- Ensuring strict compliance with food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
- Monitoring processing machinery and workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal product waste.
- Leading, mentoring, and managing processing floor staff to foster a safe, productive, and collaborative working environment.
- Troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing prompt solutions to prevent production downtime.
- Collating and maintaining accurate production reports, inventory logs, and quality assurance documentations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: HND or B.Sc. in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Engineering, or any other related field.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of active experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment. Prior experience in the dairy industry is a major advantage.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Practical knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and standard food safety systems.
- Key Skills: Strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication, analytical problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset.
Important Location Note
This position is located in Plateau State. Only candidates who currently reside in Jos and its environs, or those who are fully willing to relocate to Jos at their own expense, should apply for this role.
