Overview

Deepgram is expanding its elite pre-sales team. This is a fully remote role centered around the EST or PST time zones, though the opportunity itself spans worldwide in terms of our team culture and reach. You will act as the technical bridge between our cutting-edge speech-to-text and text-to-speech APIs and the developers building production-grade solutions. Backed by major investors and trusted by industry leaders, we process massive amounts of audio daily. Your job is to make sure our prospective clients see just how seamless, accurate, and cost-effective our voice-native foundation models really are.

Key Responsibilities

Guide prospective enterprise customers and developers through architectural evaluations, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept implementations.
Design and build custom prototypes, demos, and sample applications using Deepgram APIs to showcase the power of real-time voice agents.
Partner closely with our product and engineering teams by channeling customer feedback straight into our core model development cycles.
Troubleshoot technical integration hurdles across cloud API environments as well as self-hosted and on-premises deployments.
Embrace an AI-first operating rhythm by actively experimenting with advanced tooling to automate workflows and boost your daily efficiency.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Developer Advocate.
Solid coding proficiency in languages commonly used for API integrations and backend services, such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.
Deep curiosity about machine learning, audio processing, speech recognition, and real-time streaming architectures.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts for both CTOs and hands-on developers.
Comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced, fully remote environment based in EST or PST hours.
