The Role: PR Manager
As the PR Manager, you will be the strategic voice behind the company’s brand and its roster of stellar talents. You will design, implement, and oversee comprehensive public relations campaigns that elevate brand visibility, secure positive media coverage, and effectively manage the public narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Media & Press Pitching: Write press releases, handle media inquiries, and secure impactful coverage for projects, milestones, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- Brand & Reputation: Monitor public perception, manage potential crises with diplomacy, and ensure consistent messaging across all external communication channels.
- Content Development: Author thought-provoking speeches, articles, website content, and engaging client newsletters.
- Events Management: Plan and execute press conferences, client appreciation events, media junkets, and strategic sponsorship activations.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track media mentions, sentiment, and campaign ROI to continually refine the company's communication strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess a unique blend of strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and industry awareness:
- Education: B.Sc/HND in Mass Communication, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of active PR/communications experience, preferably within the entertainment or creative industry.
- Key Attributes: Tactful, discreet, proactive, and highly comfortable dealing with high-level stakeholders, corporate partners, and prominent personalities.
- Storytelling: Strong storytelling ability with a proven track record of converting corporate objectives into compelling media narratives.
