Key Responsibilities
- Understand and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for CAT GAS Generator systems.
- Develop and implement strategies for the efficient running of the CAT Gas generator.
- Monitor and analyze generator metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend robust preventive and corrective measures.
- Coordinate corrective maintenance based on manufacturer’s recommendations, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Make scheduled outages and equipment shutdown decisions when necessary.
- Collaborate seamlessly with teammates to guarantee the efficient running of the plant.
- Properly understudy any assigned role as the secondary engineer.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to gas generators and diesel-fired engines.
- Determine material, manpower, and service requirements for ongoing projects.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in gas engine technology and power generation.
- Maintain effective communication and professional relations within the organization.
Requirements
- Possession of a relevant B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience working with MWM Gas Generators or CAT GAS Generators.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
