Overview

This is a pivotal, fully remote position that allows you to work from anywhere in the world, with a primary focus on establishing Montu UK's presence in Poland. As our Poland Country Manager, you will lead the entire market entry initiative. Your mandate includes everything from setting up the legal entity and securing essential licenses to developing a robust supply chain and defining our clinical model. Initially, this role demands a hands-on approach, requiring you to navigate regulatory landscapes, forge critical partnerships, and solve operational hurdles daily. As Montu grows, you will transition into building and leading a high-performing local team, ensuring sustainable success for our mission to provide patients with life-changing medical cannabis treatments.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead Market Entry: Define and execute the comprehensive market-entry strategy for Poland.
Regulatory Navigation: Establish the legal entity and secure all necessary operational licenses.
Supply Chain Development: Create a reliable and efficient supply chain network.
Clinical Model Design: Develop Montu's clinical model tailored for the Polish market.
Partnership Building: Negotiate and secure commercial partnerships with key stakeholders.
Operational Excellence: Solve complex operational challenges and ensure seamless patient access to treatment.
Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing local team as the business scales.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Montu's global leadership across clinical operations, patient experience, regulatory affairs, tech, logistics, finance, and product teams.

Requirements

We are looking for a unique individual with a proven track record of building businesses from scratch, especially within highly regulated industries.

Extensive experience in a leadership role, ideally involving market entry or business development in a new region.
Deep understanding of the Polish regulatory environment, particularly within healthcare or pharmaceuticals, is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while remaining deeply involved in execution.
A proactive problem-solver who thrives in ambiguous environments.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of engaging with regulators, healthcare providers, and commercial partners.
Experience in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
Fluency in Polish and English is essential.
