We are looking for a sharp, proactive Patient Access Specialist to take charge of the front end of our revenue cycle. In this role, you will be the vital link that verifies coverage, clears authorizations, and ensures care providers have accurate details in hand. Key Responsibilities

Daily tasks in this role involve several core duties

Confirm patient insurance eligibility and active coverage windows well in advance of scheduled appointments
Verify primary and secondary policies while resolving any coordination of benefits overlaps
Check provider network participation status and study payer-specific guidelines
Determine if upcoming procedures demand prior authorizations or special referrals
Assemble, submit, and track prior authorization requests alongside the necessary clinical records
Flag and address potential reimbursement snags before care is rendered to keep denials at a minimum
Maintain pristine patient demographic records across our administrative systems

Requirements

We are searching for candidates who bring the following background

Prior practical experience in patient access, insurance verification, or revenue cycle operations
Solid familiarity with insurance payer rules, medical terminology, and clinical authorization workflows
Strong analytical mindset with an eagle eye for inconsistencies in patient files
Clear, empathetic communication skills when speaking with clinic teams and payer representatives
Self-directed work ethic with a dedicated home workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection
