You will play a crucial role in empowering students with foundational medical knowledge, preparing them to excel in diverse healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures on pathophysiology concepts to diverse student populations.
Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments, ensuring alignment with program objectives and accreditation standards.
Facilitate interactive discussions and provide constructive feedback to students, fostering critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
Evaluate student performance through grading assignments, exams, and other assessments, adhering to established rubrics and guidelines.
Maintain accurate and timely records of student grades and attendance.
Hold virtual office hours to provide individualized support and mentorship to students.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development as needed.
Stay current with advancements in pathophysiology and incorporate relevant updates into teaching practices.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in a relevant health science field (e.g., PhD, DNP, MD, DO).
Significant academic and/or clinical experience in pathophysiology.
Prior teaching experience at the university level, preferably in an online or hybrid format.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering high-quality educational content.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong technological proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual collaboration tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
