Our Technical Solutions team at Datadog is home to our in-house product experts. We fuel Datadog's global expansion by educating potential clients and ensuring the happiness and success of our current customers. We share our deep technical and product knowledge through engaging demos, insightful presentations, thorough technical evaluations, and continuous support. This is a growing, global team, known for its constant collaboration, knowledge sharing, and dedication to advancing technical skills.

As a Partner Solution Architect (PSA) focused on EMEA, you will be a Datadog authority, working hand in hand with our Director, Adoption Services, and directly supporting our Channels & Alliances business segment. The PSA is crucial for leading various technical initiatives and activities for our valued partners. These include critical projects like guiding cloud migrations, modernizing applications, and driving DevOps transformations. You will own the success of these initiatives, frequently teaming up with both Datadog and partner resources to achieve outstanding results. Essentially, you become a trusted technical advisor for our entire Partner channel.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the successful onboarding process for new partners, ensuring they are fully integrated and ready to leverage Datadog's capabilities.
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and enablement resources, equipping our partners with the knowledge and skills they need to excel.
Facilitate certification processes for partner teams, validating their expertise and proficiency with the Datadog platform.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for strategic partners, offering expert guidance and support on Datadog's product suite.
Collaborate closely with Datadog's sales, product, and engineering teams to address partner needs and contribute to product development.
Drive the technical success of partner led initiatives, such as implementing cloud monitoring solutions, optimizing application performance, and streamlining development workflows.
Provide insightful technical demonstrations and presentations to partners, showcasing the value and potential of Datadog for their clients.
Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert, sharing best practices and industry insights with the partner community.
Influence partner technical strategies, ensuring alignment with Datadog's vision and platform capabilities.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a customer or partner facing technical role, such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant.
A strong, demonstrable understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Deep expertise in areas such as monitoring, observability, application performance management, logging, and infrastructure monitoring.
Hands on experience with DevOps methodologies, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering technical projects with partners or customers.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced, remote environment.
Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a significant advantage for our EMEA focus.
Previous experience with Datadog or similar observability platforms is highly desirable.
