Partner Growth Manager

Partner Growth Manager

Partner Growth Manager, Spreedly

Are you a seasoned relationship builder with a knack for identifying and nurturing growth opportunities? Imagine waking up each day knowing you're at the forefront of the payments industry, connecting with innovative partners worldwide to unlock new revenue streams. Spreedly invites you to bring your strategic vision and collaborative spirit to our team as a Partner Growth Manager, a role where your ability to foster strong alliances directly impacts our global expansion.

About Spreedly

Spreedly stands as the world's premier Open Payments Platform. Since our founding in 2007, with headquarters in Durham, NC, we've empowered mid-market and enterprise businesses globally. Our platform provides the essential infrastructure to connect seamlessly with any payment gateway, processor, or fraud tool, all through a single, powerful API. We pride ourselves on being vendor-agnostic by design. This means our customers are never tied down to a single provider and never need to rebuild their entire payments stack just to access new capabilities. The core challenge Spreedly solves is both real and incredibly costly: global merchants grapple with a highly fragmented payments ecosystem. Each new market, payment method, or fraud tool typically demands a separate, time-consuming integration. We eliminate this complexity, allowing companies to route transactions intelligently, secure sensitive cardholder data, prevent fraud effectively, and expand into new markets without the burden of heavy engineering overhead.

About the Partner Growth Manager Role

As a Partner Growth Manager at Spreedly, you will take the lead in driving significant revenue growth through our vital strategic partner ecosystem. This fully remote, worldwide opportunity puts you in a pivotal position. Your daily focus will involve strengthening existing relationships with Spreedly’s premier and standard partners. Beyond nurturing these connections, you will actively identify and skillfully execute new opportunities to generate business together, making a tangible impact on our global reach and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for designated partner accounts, aligning with Spreedly's overall growth objectives.
  • Cultivate deep, productive relationships with key stakeholders across our premier and standard partner organizations, fostering mutual trust and collaboration.
  • Identify and secure new revenue-generating opportunities within the partner ecosystem, working closely with partners to bring these to fruition.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring their needs are met, and representing Spreedly's interests effectively.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Spreedly's sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure successful partner enablement and joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing regular reporting and insights on growth metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Educate partners on Spreedly's platform updates, new features, and value propositions to maximize their engagement and adoption.
  • Negotiate and finalize partner agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Represent Spreedly at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to strengthen relationships and identify new prospects.
  • Proactively seek out and onboard new strategic partners that complement Spreedly’s offerings and expand our market reach.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in partner management, business development, or a similar revenue-generating role, ideally within the payments or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • A strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including gateways, processors, and fraud tools, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of partners across different geographies and time zones.
  • Experience collaborating with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and using metrics to drive strategic decisions.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for building successful partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Impactful Work: Play a critical role in expanding Spreedly's global footprint and directly contribute to our revenue growth in a dynamic, rapidly evolving industry.
  • Growth Opportunities: Advance your career within a fast-growing company at the forefront of payments innovation, constantly learning and tackling new challenges.
