The Role

As the Packing Chief In-Charge, you will play a pivotal role in our production ecosystem. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire packaging operation, ensuring that our products reach the market safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a dedicated team, optimize packaging line performance, and contribute to the operational excellence of a growing pharmaceutical giant.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership: Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily packaging activities to meet ambitious production targets.
Quality Oversight: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards to prevent cross-contamination or labeling errors.
Team Development: Train and supervise packaging supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and professional growth.
Technical Maintenance: Coordinate with Engineering to ensure packaging equipment is calibrated, maintained, and running at peak performance.
Continuous Improvement: Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, minimize downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain rigorous records, manage deviations, and lead investigations when necessary to maintain compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of cGMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical packaging processes. Proficiency in MS Office and production documentation systems is essential.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
