Overview

The Foundation for California Community Colleges is the official nonprofit partner to the California Community Colleges system. We build stronger communities by getting vital resources directly to students and campuses. As our new Outreach Specialist, you will play a crucial role in amplifying our mission. You will bring an authentic student perspective to our daily operations, ensuring that diverse student populations feel seen, heard, and supported.

Key Responsibilities

Elevate authentic student voices and perspectives to shape our equity centered programs and services.
Increase overall awareness of foundation initiatives across various community college campuses.
Build and nurture meaningful partnerships that expand educational access and opportunity.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to design and execute impactful outreach campaigns.

Requirements

Must reside in California and have the ability to work 100 percent remotely within the state.
A deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion within higher education or community spaces.
Strong communication skills with a proven knack for connecting with diverse audiences.
Experience in community outreach, student advocacy, or related programmatic work.
