We are currently looking for a high-performing Operations (Project Services) Lead to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Role
As the Operations (Project Services) Lead, you will serve as the engine of our operational delivery. You will bridge the gap between strategic goals and tactical execution, ensuring that our projects are managed with the rigor and compliance expected by our international partners. This is a leadership position that requires a unique blend of technical engineering expertise and sharp commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Governance: Lead daily project execution, ensuring seamless customer delivery across our OEM channel-partner engagements.
- Bidding & Proposals: Manage the full cycle of proposal development, from RFQ receipt to final submission.
- Contracts Management: Oversee live customer contracts, including MSA/LTSA interpretation, variation orders, and warranty management.
- Operational Reporting: Own the departmental reporting cadence, ensuring KPIs and project milestones are tracked and achieved.
- Team Leadership: Coach and mentor Project Managers and Operations Support Engineers to uphold our ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface for OEMs, suppliers, and internal departments such as Finance, SCM, and Logistics.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering (Minimum Second Class Upper). A Master’s degree or MBA is a significant advantage.
- Experience: At least 6 years of post-graduation experience, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to the oil and gas industry.
- Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certification is mandatory. COREN registration is also required.
- Skills: Proven track record in project lifecycle ownership, advanced Excel modeling, and executive-level communication.
