Role Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's manufacturing ecosystem. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the semi-automated block manufacturing plant. By overseeing production planning, workforce management, equipment performance, dispatch operations, and continuous process improvement, you will ensure that production targets, strict quality standards, and customer delivery commitments are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily and weekly production plans to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and optimize semi-automated block production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Plan and deploy labour effectively to achieve production targets.
- Coordinate finished goods dispatch and ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Monitor plant performance, downtime, and equipment utilization, escalating maintenance issues promptly.
- Track and improve production cost per unit through operational efficiencies.
- Monitor raw material inventory and proactively manage stock levels to prevent production interruptions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety policies, and operational procedures.
- Prepare production, maintenance, and operational performance reports for management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and plant operations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5–8 years' experience managing operations in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Previous experience in a semi-automated block manufacturing plant is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, plant operations, maintenance coordination, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong reporting and analytical capabilities.
