In this critical role, you will be instrumental in upholding our network's stability, resilience, and high performance around the clock. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve a dynamic range of responsibilities aimed at maintaining our network's integrity:

Provide critical break/fix support across GTT's extensive global network infrastructure.
Take full ownership of incidents, driving them vigorously from initial detection through to their complete and successful resolution.
Execute thorough technical validation and troubleshooting, efficiently managing escalations when necessary to higher-tier teams or vendors.
Collaborate effectively with customers, external vendors, and various internal GTT teams to swiftly resolve service disruptions.
Perform configurations on network devices and lend essential support to critical service migration projects.
Proactively identify and analyze recurring issues, spearheading preventative actions and implementing long-term solutions.
Maintain meticulous documentation for all network changes and incidents, ensuring clear and timely customer communications.
Uphold rigorous operational procedures and adhere strictly to industry best practices in all aspects of your work.

Requirements

We are searching for someone with a solid foundation in networking and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Here's what you will need:

A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in a Telco, Service Provider, or a similar large-scale network environment.
Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills, with a proven ability to pinpoint and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
Practical experience working with modern network technologies including SD-WAN, Security solutions, and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge).
A strong understanding of core networking protocols, routing, and switching fundamentals.
