Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust web applications using Node.js and React.
- Mentor and guide development teams, fostering best practices, code quality, and technical excellence.
- Architect scalable and performant solutions, making informed technical decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality products.
- Oversee API development (REST/GraphQL) and ensure optimal application performance and cloud deployments, preferably on AWS.
- Implement and champion CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies using frameworks like Jest or Cypress.
- Actively participate in agile/scrum ceremonies, driving continuous improvement and efficient development cycles.
Requirements
- You bring at least 6 years of professional experience in developing web applications.
- You have a solid track record of 5+ years working specifically with Node.js and React.
- Your skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern development practices are strong and up to date.
- Experience with React Native would be a significant advantage.
- You are proficient with APIs (REST/GraphQL), optimizing app performance, and managing cloud deployments (AWS experience is highly preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress is essential.
- You possess strong understanding and experience with agile/scrum development methodologies.
