Key Responsibilities

Develop and nurture strong relationships with national and international carriers and service providers to support our deployment needs.
Partner closely with internal infrastructure groups to secure the best technical, commercial, and contractual conditions for network expansions.
Collaborate with the Akamai Data Center team to identify ideal terms for fiber builds.
Work hand in hand with new and existing vendors to pinpoint cost-effective business solutions.
Drive strategies that improve network performance while keeping our growth and environmental sustainability targets front and center.

Requirements

Proven experience in managing telecom or network provider accounts and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
Strong background in working with Internet Service Providers and Fiber Providers on a global scale.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a multicultural, globally distributed team environment.
A strategic mindset focused on optimizing costs, driving performance, and meeting sustainability goals.
