Overview

Devoteam is on the hunt for a strategic and highly motivated IT Infrastructure & Operations Director. This pivotal role, fully remote and open to exceptional candidates worldwide, sees you reporting directly to our Chief Information Officer (CIO) and taking a seat on the IT Board. You will serve as the essential link, seamlessly translating high-level business vision into actionable technical strategies. Imagine having global oversight of cutting-edge cloud environments while nurturing a diverse team covering Network, Systems, Workstations, Telephony, and Onsite IT services. Furthermore, you will act as a collaborative partner and governance leader for local IT departments throughout the EMEA region, fostering unified growth and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

In this crucial position, you will be instrumental in several key areas. Expect to take charge of various significant duties, including:

Providing global strategic oversight for modern Cloud Environments, ensuring our infrastructure remains at the forefront of innovation.
Bridging the gap between overarching business strategy and practical technical execution, ensuring our IT infrastructure actively supports organizational goals.
Holding a vital seat on the IT Board, where you will align global infrastructure investments with company objectives and expertly manage the comprehensive I&O budget using FinOps principles.
Directing, leading, and mentoring a multidisciplinary team encompassing Systems (with a Cloud First approach), Network, Telephony, Workstations, and France Onsite support.
Partnering closely with local IT departments across the EMEA region to harmonize technology stacks, share valuable best practices, and drive a unified infrastructure approach.

Requirements

To excel in this fully remote, worldwide role, you will bring a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise.

Significant experience in a senior IT Infrastructure & Operations leadership role, ideally within a global or nearshore context.
Demonstrated strategic oversight of modern cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).
A strong understanding and practical application of FinOps principles for budget management and financial efficiency.
Proven ability to bridge high-level business strategy with detailed technical execution.
Experience managing and mentoring multidisciplinary teams across various IT domains (Network, Systems, End User Computing, Telephony).
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, particularly when partnering with regional teams.
Experience driving harmonization and best practices across diverse IT landscapes.
A results-driven mindset with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
