Role Overview

The Mould Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in our production ecosystem. You will be responsible for the health, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our pen moulds. By ensuring that our equipment operates at peak performance, you will directly impact our ability to deliver world-class products to the market.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Execute detailed maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan and reliability of pen moulds.
Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to keep downtime to an absolute minimum.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance cycle times and mold output.
Technical Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent future failures.
Safety Leadership: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and operational standards in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

A minimum of an OND or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Tooling, or a related field.
2–5 years of hands-on experience specifically in Pen Mold maintenance or plastic injection manufacturing.
Technical Proficiency: A deep understanding of mould structures, component operation, and repair techniques.
Tooling Expertise: Practical experience with precision measurement tools (vernier calipers, micrometers) and workshop machinery including Lathe machines (turning/threading) and surface grinding machines.
