As a REMOTE Middle School Math Interventionist Teacher, you will play a vital role in this mission by focusing specifically on our "at-risk" student population. Your expertise will provide essential remediation and targeted support, driving significant academic growth and helping students achieve their math goals. This is a fully remote position for residents of Indiana, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the state.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective math intervention lessons to middle school students requiring additional support.
Assess student academic needs and progress, utilizing data to inform and adapt instructional strategies.
Develop and implement individualized learning plans designed to address specific skill gaps and promote mastery.
Collaborate actively with students, families, and school staff to create a supportive and goal-oriented learning environment.
Utilize online learning platforms and resources effectively to maximize student engagement and learning outcomes.
Monitor and track student growth, celebrating achievements and adjusting approaches as needed to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

Possess a valid teaching certification in Math for grades 5-9.
Residency within Indiana is a strict requirement for this position.
If your current teaching certification is from another state, you must obtain reciprocity within Indiana within 60 days of employment.
Demonstrated passion for working with and supporting "at-risk" student populations.
Strong understanding of middle school math curriculum and effective intervention strategies.
Excellent communication, organizational, and technological skills essential for a remote teaching role.
