About the Role: Your Impact
As an MEP Engineer, you will be instrumental in overseeing the crucial MEP aspects of our construction ventures, ensuring seamless integration and superior performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works diligently across multiple construction sites.
- Review MEP drawings and specifications thoroughly to ensure all installations comply with approved designs and project parameters.
- Coordinate effectively with MEP contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to foster smooth project execution.
- Monitor installation quality rigorously, ensuring strict adherence to engineering best practices and project standards.
- Ensure the timely execution and completion of all MEP works, aligning perfectly with project schedules.
- Review and approve MEP materials to guarantee compliance with specified project requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve any MEP-related technical issues promptly, minimizing disruptions.
- Supervise installation activities, comprehensive testing, commissioning, and final system handover.
- Prepare accurate and insightful project-specific MEP progress reports.
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory regulations, industry standards, and crucial Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.

- MEP works completed within schedule: ≥95%
- Installation quality compliance: 100%
- Testing and commissioning success: 100%
- Snag resolution within 3 working days

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering within the demanding construction industry.
- Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is a mandatory requirement.
- Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is also required.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems pertinent to both residential and commercial developments.
- Demonstrated experience in the successful testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP installations.
- Exceptional ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, crucial for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in engineering software and project reporting tools will be considered a significant advantage.
