About the Role: Your Impact

As an MEP Engineer, you will be instrumental in overseeing the crucial MEP aspects of our construction ventures, ensuring seamless integration and superior performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works diligently across multiple construction sites.
Review MEP drawings and specifications thoroughly to ensure all installations comply with approved designs and project parameters.
Coordinate effectively with MEP contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to foster smooth project execution.
Monitor installation quality rigorously, ensuring strict adherence to engineering best practices and project standards.
Ensure the timely execution and completion of all MEP works, aligning perfectly with project schedules.
Review and approve MEP materials to guarantee compliance with specified project requirements.
Proactively identify and resolve any MEP-related technical issues promptly, minimizing disruptions.
Supervise installation activities, comprehensive testing, commissioning, and final system handover.
Prepare accurate and insightful project-specific MEP progress reports.
Ensure full compliance with all statutory regulations, industry standards, and crucial Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering within the demanding construction industry.
Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is a mandatory requirement.
Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is also required.
Strong foundational knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems pertinent to both residential and commercial developments.
Demonstrated experience in the successful testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP installations.
Exceptional ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, crucial for cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency in engineering software and project reporting tools will be considered a significant advantage.
