Overview

As a Member Advocate I, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of our members. You'll act as a dedicated advocate, serving as a direct liaison between the Health Plan and providers. Your primary goal is to ensure our members always have access to the care they deserve. This means actively engaging with the community, educating members, and proactively identifying and addressing any systemic barriers that might limit access to essential healthcare services. You'll be at the forefront of fostering understanding and removing obstacles, truly making a difference.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and thoughtfully respond to member complaints and formal grievances, identifying potential access barriers and working diligently towards resolution following established procedures.
Investigate and resolve critical access and cultural sensitivity issues brought to light by Member Services staff, state personnel, providers, advocacy organizations, and recipients.
Participate actively in local community organizations. This helps you gain invaluable knowledge and insight into the unique healthcare needs and challenges faced by our members.

Requirements

This opportunity requires you to reside in the state of Florida.
You must be available to work between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
