Key Responsibilities

Own and optimize end to end payroll operations for the APAC region, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations.
Develop, implement, and refine payroll policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain robust internal controls.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including HR, Legal, Finance, and Product teams, to support a seamless employee experience.
Manage relationships with third party payroll providers and vendors across various APAC countries, evaluating performance and driving improvements.
Identify opportunities for automation and AI integration within payroll processes to boost productivity and reduce manual effort.
Stay informed about changes in APAC payroll legislation and tax requirements, proactively adjusting processes to maintain compliance.
Drive process standardization and best practices across the APAC payroll landscape.

Requirements

Proven experience in payroll operations, with significant exposure to the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Deep understanding of payroll legislation, tax compliance, and statutory requirements across multiple APAC countries.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex payroll cycles from start to finish.
Experience with payroll systems and a strong aptitude for leveraging technology, including automation and AI tools.
