You will play a crucial part in supporting the development and seamless execution of scientific communications and medical activities for our assigned assets. Working closely with Global Scientific Affairs and Medical Affairs leads, your efforts will ensure the timely and compliant delivery of high-quality congress materials, medical education, and training initiatives. This role truly emphasizes operational excellence, diligent project coordination, and robust content support, all vital for implementing our scientific strategies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Scientific Communications Support: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, presentations, and other educational materials.
- Content Development: Support the creation and review of scientific content for internal and external medical education, training programs, and scientific advisory boards.
- Project Management: Coordinate various scientific affairs projects, ensuring timelines are met and resources are managed efficiently across different therapeutic areas.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among Global Scientific Affairs, Medical Affairs, clinical development, regulatory, and commercial teams to align on scientific strategies and messaging.
- Congress Activities: Aid in the preparation and logistical execution of Sobi's presence at major medical congresses, including material submission, booth content, and scientific symposia support.
- Training & Education: Contribute to the development and delivery of medical training materials for internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring consistent and accurate scientific understanding.
- Compliance Adherence: Operate within all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct in all scientific communications.
Requirements
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a life science or health-related field is essential; an advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, Master's) is strongly preferred.
- Professional Experience: At least 3+ years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Scientific Acumen: Strong understanding of medical science, clinical research, and the drug development process.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven track record of developing clear, concise, and compelling scientific content.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative Spirit: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional, and global team setting.
