Overview

As our next Major Accounts Manager, you will proactively identify and engage with net new customers. You will introduce cutting edge data science technologies to global markets. This position is fully remote and you can work from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

Hunt for net new Public Sector customers across federal, state, and local agencies both in the US and internationally using expert outreach skills.
Educate the market on the immense value of Posit professional products and successfully sell our software.
Manage revenue by accurately forecasting sales activity and working to create completely satisfied, referenceable customers.
Build and expand your territory from the ground up while showcasing our open source data science toolchain.

Requirements

Proven experience in software sales, specifically targeting major accounts or the public sector.
Strong background in outbound prospecting and territory building.
Familiarity with data science, analytics, machine learning, R, or Python ecosystems is a huge plus.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to educate diverse markets on technical products.
