Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Officer to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of the company's facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient work environment that supports our daily mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance of company facilities and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical faults efficiently.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from various departments.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs, logs of repairs, and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Liaise with external technicians, contractors, and vendors when specialized interventions are necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant maintenance experience is considered a strong added advantage.
- Foundational knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a broader team.
