Key Responsibilities

Drive ML Strategy: Take ownership of the Machine Learning strategy for our advanced dialogue systems. You will decide what to build and in what sequence, directly linking these initiatives to critical business metrics like ARPU, retention, and chat depth.
Lead and Empower a Team: Guide a talented team of three ML engineers. This includes setting a high technical bar, efficiently distributing work, participating in hiring and development processes, and fostering the growth of your team members.
Advance LLM Capabilities: Lead efforts in LLM post-training, model architecture design, and optimization, ensuring our systems leverage the latest in AI to deliver unparalleled user experiences.

Requirements

Proven ML Leadership: Significant experience, typically 5+ years, in Machine Learning roles with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior capacity, managing ML engineers or scientists.
Deep LLM Expertise: Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and extensive practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and model deployment.
Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear strategic initiatives that drive business value.
Dialogue Systems Background: Experience working on dialogue systems, conversational AI, or similar interactive AI applications.
Technical Excellence: Profound understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and best practices.
Team Builder: A passion for mentoring and developing technical talent, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Remote Readiness: Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed team setting.
