Overview

As a pivotal member of our Lifecycle team, you will act as a trusted advisor, extending the capabilities of our clients' HR departments. Your day involves navigating the often complex landscape of global employment, offering expert guidance on employee relations and smooth transitions with unmatched speed and precision. Key Responsibilities

Provide expert consultation and guidance to clients on employee relations matters specific to the Canadian market, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and best practices.
Manage and advise on various employee lifecycle transitions, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, and offboarding processes for Canadian employees.
Develop and maintain robust documentation, policies, and procedures related to employee relations and transitions, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Collaborate closely with internal legal, payroll, and support teams to deliver integrated and seamless client solutions.
Proactively identify and address potential HR risks, offering strategic solutions to foster positive employee experiences and maintain compliant operations.
Leverage automation and AI tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing employee lifecycle processes.

Requirements

Several years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on employee relations and HR transitions.
Deep understanding and practical experience with Canadian employment law, including provincial and federal regulations.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and advisory skills, capable of building trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Proven problem-solving capabilities, with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Experience with HRIS platforms and a readiness to embrace and utilize automation and AI technologies to streamline HR processes.
