Key Responsibilities

Work directly with business clients, offering expert guidance and developing practical, effective legal solutions for complex banking matters.
Provide comprehensive support for various legal matters, including delivering legal and regulatory advice, as well as drafting and reviewing contracts across diverse practice areas within investment banking.
Analyze and evaluate new business initiatives, products, and services from a robust legal perspective to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Proactively monitor both domestic and international legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring continuous compliance while championing a strong compliance culture throughout the business.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of strong legal foundations and practical commercial understanding:

A minimum of one year of professional experience within general banking, regulatory compliance, or banking finance areas.
Prior in-house legal experience is highly valued, whether directly or through a secondment, though it is not a mandatory prerequisite.
Demonstrated strong commercial acumen, allowing you to provide business-focused legal advice.
