About the Role

Are you passionate about shaping the future of digital education for young people? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Manager to join the Raspberry Pi Foundation. This is a fully remote opportunity based in South Africa, with priority given to candidates living in the Eastern Cape and Gauteng regions. You will play a crucial role in bringing our world class computing and AI literacy programmes to learners aged six to eighteen across both formal schools and community settings. Overview

The Raspberry Pi Foundation creates research informed learning experiences that make computing accessible and engaging. As our Learning Manager in South Africa, you will champion these products locally. Your main objective is to understand the unique educational landscape of South Africa and adapt our resources so they truly meet local needs. You will work flexibly, with the option for full time, part time, or flexible scheduling, and you will occasionally travel locally as well as internationally to Kenya and the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Build a deep understanding of the South African educational context to guide how we adapt our learning resources.
Support teachers and educators in using our comprehensive sequence of lesson plans, online courses, and assessments.
Drive the adoption of AI literacy teaching materials through our flagship Experience AI programme.
Empower facilitators and young people to explore digital making through our global network of Code Clubs.
Collaborate with international teams to share insights and improve our global educational offerings.

Requirements

You must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.
Strong background in education, computing education, or curriculum development.
Ability to travel locally within South Africa and occasionally to international locations like Kenya and the UK.
Passionate about youth empowerment, technology, and digital literacy.
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
