About the Role: Lead UX Designer

As our Lead UX Designer, you will be at the forefront of shaping the visual language and user experience of our groundbreaking AI products. This is a crucial, hands-on role focusing intensely on the aesthetics, clarity, and overall intuitiveness of our interfaces. You will work in close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other designers, leading the charge in defining and implementing our visual design strategy. Key Responsibilities

Drive Visual Design Excellence: Lead the design of high-quality, beautiful, and intuitive user interfaces across all product touchpoints, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience.
Architect Design Systems: Spearhead the creation, maintenance, and evolution of our comprehensive UI component library and design system, ensuring scalability and consistency.
Refine Every Detail: Meticulously refine layouts, typography, color palettes, spacing, and visual hierarchy to achieve pixel-perfect designs and uphold brand integrity.
Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with product designers, product managers, and engineers from concept to launch, translating complex requirements into elegant design solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence.
Champion User Centricity: Advocate for the user throughout the design process, ensuring our interfaces are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and easy to use for a global audience.

Requirements

Proven Experience: At least 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional visual design skills, particularly in creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. Experience in a lead or senior capacity is highly desirable.
Design Systems Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in building, maintaining, and scaling design systems and component libraries.
Tools Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Visual Acumen: A keen eye for detail in typography, color theory, layout, and visual consistency.
Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of articulating design decisions and working effectively within a cross-functional, remote team environment.
Problem Solver: A proactive approach to identifying and solving complex design challenges, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
AI Product Experience (Bonus): Prior experience designing for AI-powered applications, complex workflows, or productivity tools would be a significant advantage.
