We are searching for a visionary Lead Software Engineer to champion the technical direction and execution of our critical products and systems. This hands-on position requires a leader who can design sophisticated systems, write impactful code, and steer vital engineering initiatives from their initial concept through to successful production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Own technical design and execution for major products, systems, and engineering initiatives.
Design scalable, reliable systems covering backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
Build alongside the team through coding, prototyping, conducting code reviews, debugging, and solving production problems.
Drive crucial architecture decisions and evaluate trade-offs considering speed, scalability, reliability, cost, and maintainability.
Translate ambiguous product challenges into clear technical solutions and actionable execution plans.
Elevate engineering quality by strengthening system design, testing protocols, security measures, observability, and overall development practices.
Lead technically critical initiatives and provide mentorship to engineers within your team and across the organization.

Requirements

Substantial professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record in a leadership or senior capacity.
Deep expertise in designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable and reliable systems.
Proficiency across multiple technology stacks, including backend frameworks, frontend technologies, API development, and database management.
Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, alongside strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience in architectural decision-making, understanding the implications of trade-offs on performance, cost, and maintainability.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and mentoring team members effectively.
