Overview
As a Lead Product Designer at Alt, you will shape the core platform and create seamless delightful experiences for people researching, managing, insuring, and leveraging their alternative asset portfolios. As an early member of our design team, you will wield outsized influence on the product roadmap and help define our visual language from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end to end design process for our core marketplace products from initial concept to final polished launch.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and company leaders to translate complex financial concepts into intuitive user interfaces.
- Establish scalable design patterns and systems that elevate our brand across web and mobile platforms.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to deeply understand the needs of serious collectors and everyday traders.
- Mentor fellow team members and champion design thinking across the entire organization.
Requirements
- Extensive product design experience building polished consumer facing applications, preferably in fintech, e-commerce, or marketplaces.
- A stellar portfolio showcasing complex problem solving, exceptional visual design skills, and a deep understanding of UX fundamentals.
- Fluency in modern design tools like Figma and a proven track record of shipping successful products.
- An independent and proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast paced remote environment.
