To pull this off, we need a seasoned Lead Engineer who loves solving tough technical challenges and building scalable software from anywhere across the globe. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity designed for someone who wants to steer technical vision without giving up hands-on coding.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your daily focus will center around several core areas

Take full technical ownership of our wealth management mobile and web applications, ensuring reliable architecture and rapid release cycles.
Write clean, resilient code while designing distributed systems that can handle massive transaction spikes seamlessly.
Mentor fellow software engineers, lead constructive code reviews, and raise the bar for development standards across the organization.
Partner closely with product managers, designers, and domain experts to turn complex financial mechanics into intuitive user experiences.
Champion best practices in security, data privacy, and testing to protect our users and their capital.

Requirements

We care deeply about your practical engineering prowess and real-world leadership. We generally expect

Extensive hands-on software development experience with modern languages and backend or full-stack frameworks.
Proven background leading software projects and guiding other engineers through complex architectural decisions.
Demonstrated experience building, scaling, and maintaining mission-critical applications, ideally within fintech, wealth management, or high-volume transactional spaces.
Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure, microservices, database optimization, and secure API design.
Comfort working asynchronously with a distributed international team spread across multiple time zones.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical tradeoffs clearly to non-engineers.
