As a Lead Engineer, you will own the architectural vision and day-to-day technical execution for our Travel FX platform.

Key Responsibilities

Day to day, you will blend hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

Architect, build, and maintain scalable systems capable of processing high-volume foreign exchange transactions in real time.
Take direct technical ownership of the Travel FX App, guiding architectural choices from early concept to production launch.
Collaborate with product designers, mobile engineers, and data teams to deliver seamless cross-border financial experiences.
Elevate engineering standards across the board through rigorous code reviews, mentoring, and system design sessions.
Ensure rock-solid security, top-tier reliability, and strict compliance across our financial services tech stack.
Diagnose complex bottlenecks and performance issues quickly across distributed architectures.

Requirements

We are searching for someone who brings deep technical know-how and genuine passion for building great products.

Strong background leading technical initiatives and architecting resilient consumer-facing mobile or backend applications.
Deep proficiency with modern backend languages such as Go, Node.js, Java, or Python, alongside cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP.
Solid grasp of microservices, distributed transaction processing, and event-driven architectures.
Proven track record working with payment gateways, FX systems, or related fintech infrastructure.
