Key Responsibilities

Take full technical ownership for the design, architecture, and successful implementation of complex, high-impact products and systems.
Lead by example, writing clean, efficient, and scalable code while actively participating in code reviews to ensure high quality across the team.
Drive technical strategy, research new technologies, and introduce best practices to continuously improve our engineering processes and infrastructure.
Mentor and guide fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust and innovative technical solutions.
Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our financial applications.
Act as a key troubleshooter and problem solver for critical issues, providing expert guidance and resolution.

Requirements

Extensive professional experience in software engineering, with a significant portion spent in a hands-on technical leadership or senior architect role.
Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership of large-scale projects from conception through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, and scalable, fault-tolerant architectures.
Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to high-performance web applications and backend services.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and API design principles.
Proven track record of mentoring junior to mid-level engineers and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
