Overview

In this role, you will act as the frontline evaluator for our future infrastructure sites. You will make sure that every proposed location is fully buildable, strictly compliant, and financially sound. By taking charge of civil, geotechnical, environmental, and entitlement diligence, you help us avoid costly pitfalls before a single shovel hits the ground.

Key Responsibilities

Drive all technical site diligence including geotechnical investigations, soil analysis, ALTA surveys, mineral rights verifications, and physical access evaluations.
Establish clear timelines for permitting and entitlements while maintaining strong relationships with local regulatory agencies.
Assess potential environmental hurdles such as generator air permits, wetland boundaries, floodplains, and stormwater management constraints.
Direct external consultants performing critical feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
Provide definitive go or no go recommendations backed by comprehensive risk assessments and actionable mitigation strategies.
Create standardized diligence playbooks and templates to help our team scale future site reviews efficiently.

Requirements

Bring at least 8 years of hands-on experience in land development, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or specialized data center site diligence.
Demonstrate a proven track record of managing complex multi-disciplinary technical teams and navigating difficult regulatory approval processes.
Possess exceptional problem-solving abilities and a talent for communicating complex technical risks to leadership teams in plain English.
