Overview

This critical role places you at the heart of our commitment to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements and best practices. As our KYC & KYB Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and enforcing our Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes for both individual and corporate clients, covering initial onboarding and continuous monitoring. You'll ensure our global CDD standards are consistently met, collaborating closely with local teams, including Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs), to adapt and align with specific regional regulatory needs. Your oversight of CDD controls will be vital, providing essential guidance to our first line of defense and serving as a key point of contact for a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. This is a fully remote, worldwide position, offering you the flexibility to contribute from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain robust global Customer Due Diligence (CDD) standards for both retail and corporate clients.
Oversee the end-to-end KYC and KYB processes, from initial onboarding through to ongoing due diligence and periodic reviews.
Collaborate extensively with local Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) and regional compliance teams to ensure global standards are adapted and aligned with specific local regulatory requirements.
Provide expert guidance and support to the first line of defense, enhancing their understanding and execution of CDD controls and AML best practices.
Act as a primary point of contact for internal departments, auditors, and external regulatory bodies concerning KYC, KYB, and CDD matters.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of CDD controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.
Stay abreast of evolving AML/CFT regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements in the compliance space, integrating relevant changes into our operations.
Support the Global Compliance team in various initiatives, contributing to the overall strength and effectiveness of our regulatory framework.

Requirements

Proven experience in AML/CFT compliance, specifically with extensive knowledge of KYC, KYB, and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes in a financial services or cryptocurrency environment.
A strong understanding of global AML regulations and an ability to navigate diverse local regulatory landscapes.
Demonstrated experience in a managerial or leadership role, guiding teams and influencing stakeholders.
Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across a global, remote team and engaging effectively with external partners.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry, demonstrating adaptability and proactive problem-solving.
Relevant certifications in AML (e.g., ACAMS) are highly advantageous.
