The Role
As our Key Account Sales Manager, you will serve as a trusted business advisor to a select portfolio of our most important clients. You will be responsible for understanding their unique business objectives and aligning our world-class heavy machinery solutions to their long-term growth strategies. Success in this role requires a sophisticated blend of commercial acumen, technical knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Account Governance: Design and execute multi-year strategic plans for major construction firms and industrial clients to maximize lifetime account value.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate deep partnerships with C-Suite executives, Procurement Directors, and Fleet Managers.
- Value-Based Selling: Effectively navigate complex, long-cycle sales processes to secure large-scale fleet expansions and comprehensive service agreements.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with technical support and service engineering teams to ensure our solutions deliver operational excellence on-site.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for elite talent with specific experience in the heavy machinery sector. Please note: This role is strictly for candidates with a background in construction, earthmoving equipment, mining, or industrial engineering. Experience in FMCG, retail, or hospitality is not suitable for this position.
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of success in managing key accounts within the heavy industry sector.
- Expertise: Proven track record in navigating large-scale CAPEX procurement and complex stakeholder decision-making units.
- Acumen: Ability to translate complex technical machinery specifications into clear, bottom-line financial benefits for our clients.
