Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and finance teams to design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions.
Apply your accounting knowledge to build and maintain financial reconciliation systems, reporting tools, and transaction processing logic.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across various parts of our platform.
Participate in code reviews, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Help identify and implement improvements to our financial infrastructure and data integrity.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Junior Software Engineer or in a similar development role.
A strong foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger operations.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Go) and familiarity with web technologies.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing complex SQL queries.
Comfortable working with version control systems, particularly Git.
A high degree of intellectual curiosity and emotional intelligence (high IQ, high EQ), enabling effective problem-solving and collaboration.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability.
Must be based in a Latin American country and authorized to work remotely from there.
