As 2023 drew to a close, we strategically extended our Interim Solutions to the Global Investor-Backed Markets, notably within life sciences. This multi-solution approach allows us to provide clients with impactful leadership, addressing their most critical needs. This Principal role is fully remote, welcoming talent from across the globe to contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership within life sciences organizations, as well as private equity and venture capital firms focused on the sector, guiding them toward optimal leadership solutions.
Integrated Solutions Design: Collaborate closely with WittKieffer's search and leadership advisory teams, developing tailored leadership imperatives that may integrate executive search, leadership advisory, and interim solutions.
Business Development & Growth: Actively identify, cultivate, grow, and secure new client relationships within the life sciences and investor-backed markets for interim solutions, while also championing our executive search and leadership advisory offerings.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships, ensuring WittKieffer remains the preferred partner for complex leadership challenges.
Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and leadership needs within the global life sciences ecosystem to proactively address client demands.

Requirements

Life Sciences Expertise: Deep, firsthand knowledge and professional experience within the life sciences industry, ideally with exposure to diverse organizational structures and challenges.
Investor-Backed Market Acumen: A strong understanding of the private equity and venture capital landscape, particularly as it relates to investment in life sciences.
Business Development Prowess: Proven track record in identifying, developing, and closing new business, demonstrating exceptional client acquisition and relationship management skills.
