Overview

Quince is seeking an experienced Soft Sourcing Manager to oversee and optimize our soft home goods supply chain with a specific focus on the European region. In this crucial role, you will lead the identification, evaluation, and management of suppliers for categories like bedding, bath, and decor. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring our products meet stringent quality standards, adhere to sustainable and ethical practices, and remain competitively priced. Key Responsibilities

Drive the end-to-end sourcing process for soft home categories within Europe, from supplier identification to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with Quince's quality, cost, and sustainability objectives, focusing on the European supplier base.
Conduct thorough market research to identify new supplier opportunities and emerging trends in soft home production across Europe.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and payment conditions with suppliers to secure the best value without compromising on quality or ethical standards.
Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality specifications, and compliance with Quince's social and environmental responsibility guidelines.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including design, merchandising, and logistics, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
Implement rigorous quality control processes throughout the production lifecycle, ensuring all soft home products meet Quince's premium standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager or similar role, with a strong background in soft home goods.
Demonstrable expertise in the European sourcing landscape, including a robust network of suppliers and a deep understanding of regional production capabilities.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse suppliers.
A deep understanding of product quality standards, manufacturing processes, and supply chain dynamics within the soft home category.
Strong analytical abilities to evaluate supplier performance, cost structures, and market trends effectively.
