The Role
As the HSE Supervisor, you will be the champion of our safety culture. You will work on the ground to ensure that our facilities remain safe, compliant, and efficient. Your primary goal will be to mitigate workplace risks and ensure that every employee returns home safely, while upholding our commitment to FSSC, HACCP, and OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Hazard Identification: Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify and rectify unsafe conditions.
- Safety Training: Lead initiatives to educate staff and foster a culture of safety awareness.
- Incident Management: Oversee first aid facilities, manage incident reporting, and conduct thorough investigations into near-misses or accidents.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous HSE records and ensure strict adherence to corporate and regulatory safety policies.
- SOP Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Academic Background: Minimum of an OND in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic Education: 5 O' level credits (including English and Mathematics) in no more than two sittings.
- Experience: At least two (2) years of cognate experience in HSE management, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong risk assessment abilities, and the capacity to influence positive behaviors across all levels of the organization.
