Key Responsibilities

Scale and consolidate our microservices backend architecture to support rapid user growth.
Drive significant improvements in backend performance reliability and overall security posture.
Design robust REST APIs used by both internal teams and external customers.
Build and maintain seamless integrations with various third-party services.
Develop internal tooling designed to supercharge development and operational workflows.
Establish engineering best practices and shape the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with product teams to propose innovative backend solutions.
Jump in to triage and troubleshoot customer bugs when tricky issues arise.

Requirements

Extensive background in backend software engineering with a strong focus on distributed systems and microservices.
Proven experience leading engineering teams or stepping up as a technical lead.
Deep expertise in designing RESTful APIs and building third-party integrations.
A passion for writing production code daily while balancing hands-on work with leadership duties.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to performance and security.
Comfort working in a fast-paced and fully remote environment across different time zones.
